You have legs because there is information - a set of instructions for building legs - written into the genetic code in each of the cells in your body. It's like a computer program. For a computer program to work it must be error free and written in a language that the hardware understands.
And behind every computer program there is an intelligence, a programmer. Darwinian evolution is all about adding new information to the genetic code. And it takes masses of new information to code for a wing where there was no wing before, or a leg where there was no leg before. Yet biologists cannot explain the origin of the new information - or indeed any genetic information.
Richard Dawkins - famous proponent of Darwinian evolution - is completely stumped when asked to give an 'example of a genetic mutation or an evolutionary process which can be seen to increase the information in the genome'. He pauses for 20 seconds before asking for the camera to be switched off. After composing himself the camera is turned back on and he continues to talk - but completely avoids answering the question!!!
This man has written more popular books on the subject of Evolution than anyone else. He - of all people - should have an answer to this most fundamental question. But he doesn't! And with good reason - since not only are there no examples of mutations leading to increases in information but no-one can even dream up an idea of how information could be added.
Just as the Works of Shakespeare did not and could not have written themselves so the genetic code could not have written itself. The simplest known cell has 60,000 base pairs ('letters' in the genetic instructions) while humans have 3,000,000,000 base pairs in each cell. Where did all this extra information come from? (It's a big enough question to ask where the information came from in the 'simple' cell). Information does not arise by chance. It would be contrary to a fundamental law of the universe called the Conservation of Information (which is related to the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics). Why then do dome scientists still cling to Darwinian evolution?
